Sailing and blogging in support of WWF
I am proud to support World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) through this expedition. Their mission is to:
stop the degradation of the earth’s natural environment and to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature by:
- conserving the world’s biological diversity
- ensuring that the use of renewable natural resources is sustainable
- promoting the reduction of pollution and wasteful consumption
A donation to WWF UK would be be hugely encouraging.

WWF regional branches
The above JustGiving donation page is set up with WWF-UK, but if you would prefer to donate to WWF Japan or to any other regional branch, or direct to WWF Global, the planet will be equally grateful (and I will be too, if you let me know!)
Where does the money go?
When you donate to a regional WWF, such as WWF-UK or WWF Japan, the money primarily supports conservation efforts within the region or country where that branch operates. A proportion of funds is also allocated to international projects and programs. This allows for both local responsiveness to specific environmental challenges and coordinated action on larger issues that require international cooperation.
